Samuel HAKUZIMANA, Founder and Executive Director
Samuel is born 1984 and currently serves as Executive Director for Citizen Voice and Actions,Chairperson and Coordinator of Rwanda Men Engage Youth Network. He is previously served as Executive Director in Rwanda Good Governance Promotion and Youth Development Organization from 2012-2015.Samuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Kigali Independent University and Volunteering as coordinator in National youth forum,Gasabo District from 2010-2012 and as Coordinator of National youth Council Gisozi sector from 2010-2016.Samuel has over 9 years of experience in working with Youth led organizations (NGOs) since 2012 in the Area of Good Governance and Democracy.

Jean Baptiste Hategekimana, Chairperson of CVA
Jean Baptiste Hategekimana was born in 1985 in Nyagatare District, Eastern Province, Rwanda. He is the current Chairperson of The Citizens Voice and Actions Organization (CVA) and the Governance and Rights Senior Program Officer at Never Again Rwanda (2018).
He is a certified Performance-Driven Project Manager by International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) through the USAID project known as Human and Institutional Capacity Development (HICD – Rwanda).
He was part of the team that drafted the Amman Declaration on Youth, Peace and Security in August 2015 which was later adopted as the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 (UNSCR 2250) on Youth, Peace and Security.
Before this position, Jean Baptiste served as the Associate Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and the Information, Education and Communication Officer at Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) from 2013 – 2014.
He was also the Peace building Program Coordinator at Never Again Rwanda from December 2010 to May 30, 2013.
He has extensive experience in civil society programs set up, training on non-violent conflict resolution, leadership, governance &rights, debate, media programs and public speaking as well as developing advocacy campaigns.
He is a graduate from the School of Journalism and Communication, National University of Rwanda with major in Journalism.
